I am appalled by what I have just seen. Also, I can't BELIEVE what was said at around 1:50. We've got rights. Law enforcers should not strip anyone of his or her legal rights. Period.
Like Katie, I am disgusted by the actions of these police officers in this video. The police have a responsibility to serve and protect the people, not beat them up and spray them with pepper spray. They are not justified in their horrendous treatment of these people at all. Everyone has the right to protest. If this journalist is right in saying that this is how police officers act when the cameras aren't rolling, then we have some serious problems with our law enforcement system.
I am really surprised how openly these police officers hurt these people. Honestly, it is kind of scary to watch. If this is how they act when cameras are rolling it might be even scarier to know what takes place in a less public situation.
